Inuyasha Returns In Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon
If this year seems to be going right for anyone, it’s fans of 2000s anime, who are seeing their favorites resurrected. A continuation of Bleach was announced earlier this year, and now we hear Inuyasha is coming back. It’s not quite as you know it, though. The new series, Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon, could bear the more apt title “Inuyasha: The Next Generation,” or “Boruto but it’s about somebody else.” The show will leap in time for a slightly more modern feudal fairy tale, focusing on the adventures of the offspring of Inuyasha, Sesshomaru and Kagome. Back in feudal Japan, half-demon twins Towa and Setsuna become separated during a forest fire. Setsuna can’t seem to find Towa afterward, and there’s a good reason for that: Towa discovered another tunnel to modern-day Japan, where she meets Moroha, daughter of Inuyasha and Kagome. The tunnel closes before Towa can find her way back. Ten years later, it opens back up again, and Moroha and Towa leap back in time — to find Setsuna
